Radish privacy policy
Effective September 25, 2026
Radish: AI Calorie Counter (“Radish”) is made by Strategy Loom LLC. We designed Radish so that your food diary stays on your iPhone and we don’t collect information about you.
What we collect
Nothing. Radish has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and Strategy Loom has no servers that receive your meals, photos, weight or any other information from the app.
What Radish stores, and where
On your iPhone: the meals you log, meal photos you take in Radish, weights, goals, the answers you give in setup (such as birth year, height and weight), reminder times and settings. This stays in the app on your iPhone. Meal photos are kept inside Radish, not in your photo library.
On-device AI
Meal photos and descriptions are analyzed on your iPhone by Apple Intelligence or Apple’s Vision framework. They are not sent to Strategy Loom or to any AI service.
Barcode lookups
When you scan a barcode, Radish sends only the barcode number to Open Food Facts (openfoodfacts.org), a free public product database, to look up the product. No personal information is included. Products you’ve looked up are cached on your iPhone.
Apple Health
If you turn on Health sync, Radish saves the meals and weights you log to Apple Health and reads weights from Health. You choose what Radish can access in the Health permission sheet and can change it any time in the Health app. Health data is never used for advertising, never sold and never shared with anyone.
Camera, photos and notifications
The camera is used only when you snap a meal, scan a barcode or read a label. Photos you choose from your library are used only to log that meal. Meal reminders are scheduled on your iPhone.
Purchases
Purchases are made through the App Store and processed by Apple. We don’t receive your payment details. The app only learns whether you have Radish Pro so it can unlock it.
Children
Radish collects no personal information from anyone, including children. For anyone under 18, Radish sets a maintenance plan rather than a weight-loss goal.
Deleting your data
In Radish, open Settings and tap Delete all data, or delete the app. Data already saved to Apple Health stays in Health until you delete it there.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
