Scribble Zoo: drawings that come alive

Scribble Zoo is a drawing app for kids on iPad and iPhone from Strategy Loom. Everything your child draws can wake up: tap the sleepy sun and every drawing gets googly eyes, blinks, watches their finger and giggles when it’s tapped.

Drawing

Crayon, marker, paint, rainbow, glitter, glow and stamps, plus an eraser, a paint bucket that doesn’t spill through small gaps, stickers, mirror drawing and undo. Apple Pencil works too, with pressure, and a resting hand won’t draw. Pinch with two fingers to zoom in on details. Every drawing is saved automatically on the fridge.

Waking drawings up

Tap the sun at the top right. Tap a drawing to make it giggle, drag it around and fling it. Magic stickers give drawings abilities: wheels drive, wings fly, a rocket launches, a balloon floats, a spring bounces, a propeller hovers, legs walk and a fin swims. Tumble turns on gravity (tilt the device), and Sing plays the drawing like music: the higher on the page, the higher the note.

Coloring pages

Hundreds of pages for little ones, kids and big kids, plus “finish it” pages that start a picture for your child to complete. They come alive too.

iCloud

Drawings sync through iCloud, so they show up on every iPad and iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account. They’re stored in your own private iCloud. A grown-up can turn this off in the grown-ups area.

For grown-ups

Settings, saving pictures to Photos, sharing and deleting drawings are behind a grown-ups gate (tap the lock on the fridge and answer the question). You can turn off sounds, music notes and vibration, and choose “Only Apple Pencil draws”.

Scribble Zoo is a one-time purchase from the App Store. There are no ads, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
