Scribble Zoo privacy policy

Scribble Zoo (“Scribble Zoo”) is a drawing app for children made by Strategy Loom LLC. We designed Scribble Zoo so that we don’t collect any information about you or your child.
What we collect
Nothing. Scribble Zoo has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. It does not send drawings or any other information to Strategy Loom or anyone else.
What Scribble Zoo stores, and where
On your device: your child’s drawings and the app’s settings. They stay in the app on your device.
iCloud
If your device is signed in to iCloud, Scribble Zoo keeps your child’s drawings in your own private iCloud database so they appear on your other iPads and iPhones. This uses Apple’s iCloud under your Apple Account, Apple’s privacy policy applies to it, and Strategy Loom cannot see or access it. A grown-up can turn this off in the app’s grown-ups area.
Photos and sharing
Only from the grown-ups area (behind a question for adults) can a drawing be saved to your photo library or shared. Scribble Zoo asks for permission to add to Photos the first time, and it never reads your photos. Sharing uses the standard iOS share sheet, and what you share and with whom is up to you.
Motion
In Tumble mode Scribble Zoo uses the device’s motion sensors, on the device, to know which way is down. This is used in the moment and never stored or sent anywhere.
Purchases
Scribble Zoo is bought through the App Store and Apple processes the payment. We don’t receive any payment details.
Children
Scribble Zoo is made for children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Drawings can be deleted in the grown-ups area, one at a time or all at once (with iCloud sync on, that also removes them from your other devices and your iCloud). Deleting Scribble Zoo removes its data from your device; you can remove its iCloud data in your device’s iCloud settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
